"Beauty is one of mankind's greatest needs; it is the root from which the branches of our peace and the fruits of our hope come forth. Beauty also reveals God because, like Him, a work of beauty is pure gratuity; it calls us to freedom and draws us away from selfishness" -Pope Benedict XVI

St. Luke is the Patron Saint of painters and my Patron Saint. It is reported that along with being a physician, he was also a gifted artist. His Gospel, being visually descriptive, has always been a great inspiration for artists. I dedicate my artwork and art business to Our Lady of Guadalupe. The image of Guadalupe is an image that was miraculously imprinted on the tilma of Juan Diego in the year 1531. The tilma was made of cactus fiber which has only a 30 year life span. But the timla and the image have remained intact and can still be viewed at Tepeyac Hill outside of Mexico City. I dedicate my art to the Blessed Virgin Mary under this title of Our Lady of Guadalupe because this is the only artwork I know of that we have that God himself painted.
