Wyoming Red Rock

The area south of Dubois, Wyoming is an incredible display of red rock and other very unique geological formations. I saw this scene and stopped to paint a sketch of it while my children happily kicked up red dust not far away. I loved the shadows and how the red rock shifts to subtle blue tones in the distance.
