Dusty Pursuit

A Lakota Warrior pursues an enemy beneath the shadows of the Badlands. He wears a hair pipe breastplate, an eagle feather bonnet and carries a shield. Ermine tails trail above his shoulders as his paint horse runs at top speed. For the background I used the colors from a plein air study I did of some badlands buttes in nearly 100 degree heat.
