Scattered

Rocks can add so much to a landscape, and the Catalina Mountains outside of Tucson, AZ has plenty or beautiful rock arrangements for the artist to paint. This scene was in morning light and the blues in the shadows of the rock stopped by in my tracks and made me set up my easel to do a plein air sketch.
